New Years Eve Eve.

2009.
what a year!

I had planned on posting pictures from my favorite things that occured each month, but finding 12 pictures and saving them and then uploading them 5 at a time seemed like too much work for a day like today! I mean I am still in my pajamas!

So this is my year in a nutshell:

Our first family trip to Florida

Highlights: The wave that got our baybay, Getting sunburnt and fainting, Seaworld

Aquiring BellaCat

Bella has brought us much laughter. We has concluded that she is half raccoon and half ferret.

Missing Granddaddy

:(

CMA Fest

Me and Adrian venturing up to Nashville to witness the amazingness of Brad

Paisley, Dierks Bentley, Darius Rucker, Brooks and Dunn. Yeah we saw Reba who wasnt that wonderful, and it came a turrential downpour halfway through causing Rascal Flatts to leave!!!! But it was still fun, and we hope to return next year for Keith Urban and Lady Antebellum!

Charleston 2x

We got to explore Charleston twice this year. Once to go to our friend's wedding, and the next time to stay at Folly Beach. I love it! Rainbow Row, Sullivan's Island, California Dreaming, and seeing old friends again!

Aristocats

Singers has just about taken over my life this year, but I absolutley LOVE it! This year rocks so much more because the wonderful friends that I have in there. We are like a family, and I love us! Can't wait for competition in February!

Bigstuf 2009: Time

Once again, Bigstuf was indescribeable! Our group was teeny tiny so we were connected better and got to get front row during the sessions more often! We learned some great new music and learned that you have to do best with the time you are given in life!

Turning 16

Sweet Sixteen! It was pretty sweet I had my birthday in Mississippi with my HUGE family at Olive Garden! I even got to see Aunt Tammy who I haven't seen in forevers! I also got my license!

Free Falling

Yes, My friends that is me. I all too suddenly volunteered to take the great plunge at 6 Flags this summer with Jason and Phoenix, not knowing quite how fast and high up it would be! I was even the one to pull the trigger to disconnect us from the teensy litte string that hold us up higher than the highest roller coaster in the park.

What a good year this was. Tomorrow me and the family go to Opry Land Hotel to see the lights and then come home for New Years Eve Parties!

Then 2010...

Its been a long December!

Hi again!

I have decided to return to blogworld after a long hiatus due to extreme busy-ness and lack of desire to blog. Singers just about got the best of me this month, and now that it's a new year, I will attempt to blog at least once a week, because I really do like doing it!

One condition: My other blogFriends-you know who are-must blog a little more also, so that I shall have something to read!

Seeing as how the most wonderful time of the year is over, not counting new years-I shall fill you in on my life throughout the most ridiculously long, stressful, exciting, busy, and fun month ever-December!

On the last weekend of November, Momma and Bradyn and Christmasified the house. This is my special little tree that inhabits my room. it falls over alot and doesnt match well buts its cluttery and cute!

Exhibit A of the most torcherous red sparkely dress to ever exist! But it brought many good times! Like this trip to Mings where I consumed only rice and fruit due to my extreme hate of chinese cuisine!

So here's the story behind this picture: We spent the night a Rachels house on a school night because we got to miss school for a Singers trip. So we figured since we didn't have to actually learn the next day, only sing some holiday songs, that we could stay awake into the wee hours of the early morning. We discovered the awesomeness of this shower that is underground. It amazed us to no end. And we were so consumed with its coolness that we "forgot" to go go to sleep. I got 3.5 hours that night. not fun.

Our Christmas Concert was one of the many other Singers events during the month. It is my favorite!

Momma and I decided to sit down one night and create this fabric flowers! We even thought of a name for them-Tattered Petals. This necklace is my favorite of the nearly 40 that we made!

Bradyn is my cutie pie!

Now onto the Christmas Gifts I recieved( only from the Parents):
A Pretty Blue nano. excluding the video camera. But its still wonderful because I have already put nearly 600 songs on it and its not even half full! I also have the choice to view 2 Glee videos, an old school Hey Arnold, Friends, and Ice Age Gone Nutty if I ever find myself bored anough to watch something on a 2 in screen. it's still cool just having it there! :)

A fuzzy Northface Jacket that has wrapped me in fleecy warmth. However it was a pretty blue-green color, not black! I love it!
and.......
the most amazingest gift of all.....
the one.....
the only....

Yes. My new lover. My Canon Rebel. I have named it Sasha. Because it just looks like a Sasha.
I am obsessed!

I will love you until the end of time. - Moulin Rouge

9 things.
Today marks the second Friday of the fantabulous weekly challenge. And I changed it to only 9 things I love because 14 seemed like to many and I was too lazy. ;)
1. Skittles.
A-may-zing. that is all.

2. Matchbow 20

They are my favorite and my best! Their songs are just awesome and have the perfect blend of angry break-up songs and crazy-dancin' sing your head off songs! Their concert rocked my socks off too!

3. New Moon

So the expression Twilight-aholic can only stand for another 33 days. The new movie looks 20 gillion times better than the first one. I am so enthused!

4. Kitty Cats.
I am gonna be an old, crazy cat lady when I am 90 years old. Today when we got home I hugged my cat and sat for 10 minutes and petted her while she scarfed down her kitty food. And, as I have let on before, LOLcats give me a good hoot when I am down in the dumps, or if I just want to laugh my butt off!

5. Will & Grace
I have always loved this show, because it is so hilarious and you can jump in at any time during any season or any episode and not even know whats going on because it is so funny! During my late nights of fall break when absolutely nothing of interest comes on TV, I turn to good ole Lifetime and watch this! Harry Connick JR. is on now so go watch it!

6. Charleston
I love it. Everything about it. The smell, the food, the people, the gorgeous homes, the memories made there. It's all amazing. I would live there if I could bring my best friends and my family with me. My favorite attractions in the Low Country area are: Folly Beach, Rainbow Row, California Dreaming, Battery Park, Pineapple Fountain, Giant Swings!

7. Nailpolish
I have a neverending supply of it. My favorite bottle happens to be one that I have had since I was four called "Celestial Purple." And I deffinatley still paint my toes rainbow like this because just one color is much too boring!

8. Goodwill
I used to be scared to go into Goodwill because I used to think that money should only be spent at expensive name-brand places. But now I love Goodwill because I always get cute stuff for a 1/4th of the price that it cost in stores! It has never failed me to have cute thrifty items. The best thing to find there is jewelry and dresses.

9. Fall
The colors of fall are my favorites! I love the smell of burning leaves and cinnamon. I love eating caramel apples and carving pumpkins and wearing scarves and sweaters and boots! Me and momma take too much pleasure in decorating the house with spiders and jack-o-lanterns and ghosts! And I am actually going to confess to being a big fat loser and reading Martha Stewart's Magic of Fall issue. Yeah I know, it seems dorky, ut its really cute!

What are 9 random things that you love?
(or just 2 or 3)
Next Weekly challenge theme: First letter or your name.

Weekly Challenge!

So I came across this cute little weekly challenge scrapbook that me and momma did a few years ago. It's cool, and I decided to recycle the challenges and mix them up and use them on my blog! Every Friday, I will post a picture and a little bit about each week's topic, so that I can begin blogging more frequently!

{Week 1}
What do you believe in?

I believe that the power of prayer is greater than anything in the world. There is nothing more wonderful that having God to turn to when life gets hard. He makes your paths straight and is always there for you. Bigstuf Camp is an awesome way to give back to God through prayer and worship. This video was taken on the last night of camp last summer. It is so inspiring seeing hundreds of kids coming together to sing to God at the beach during the summer.

What do you believe in?

(Next week: 14 things that I love.)

When the moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie...

Thats amore
When life lets me down, I have a small handful of things that can always bring a smile to my face.

1. fresh flowers

They smell so delicious, I just wanna eat them. But they don't taste too good.

2. Best Friends.

Sarah, Adrian, Rachel, Brittney and Karrington-thank you guys so much for being my besties and hugging me 20 thousand times when I have sucky days, kidnapping me to go color instead of going to History, watching stupid youtube videos for hours and drooling over picture of Edward Cullen.

3. The Sound of Music

I am not sure if it is a good or bad thing that I know every single word to every single song in this movie...but it makes me laugh, and I watch it despite the fact that my family despises it.

4. Coca Cola
There is nothing more refreshing in this world than an ice-cold 6 ounce bottle of Coke. And the cutesy, vintage posters and signs are fun to collect, too!

5. Brownies

Ghiridelli especially. <3>

6. Bradyn singing Hey Jude in the car ever so cutely.

Cutie!!!!!!!!!!

7. Family Vacations.
This one was taken in Charleston over Spring Break. We are going back to stay in a beach house for a week in 6 days! It gives me something to looks forward to-relaxing.

8. Memories.

Dear Diary.

Dear Cobra Starship,
Good Girls Go Bad is the radicalest song ever. I just have one query. What on earth is that noise that you make after you say, "Good girls go..." It souds like a sheep Baa-ing. That has always bothered me a little bit. just wondering.

Dear Time Travler's Wife,
What was your name? Claire. How do you do it? How do you handle your lover man just dissappearing like that without warning? It baffles me. I loved your movie. It made me cry. It blew The Notebook away.

Dear Shane West,
What happened to you? Why did you fall off the face of the earth. After ER bit the dust, so did you. You need to make a cool comeback in another A Walk to Remember-ish movie. I would like that very much. Thanks for understanding.

Dear Halloween,
I am very excited for your arrival. I have decided that I shall be an angel for the Singers Halloween Party and if my friends decide to not be party poopers and go trick or treating with me!

Dear Sparkely blue sequin tap outfits,
Why must you itch so much? You are way too adorable to be so annoyingly itchy. Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy wants you to change your itchy ways.

Dear LOLcatz,
Thank you for giving me something to roll on the floor and laugh about until I cry.

Dear Mr. Cheese,
You suck. Why did you have to burn our pizza? Why do your silly little arcade games eat up your 20 tokens and then give you all of like 50 tickets. I can't even buy a freakin pack of pop rocks for 50 tickets.

Dear Patrick Swayze,
You rocked my socks off. Especially in Ghost. Best movie ever.

Dear Paintball,
I want to play you. You look painful, but fun.

When you're lost, you can look and you will find me, time after time.

Meet Chelsea. She is one week old. She has no hair.

Meet the Holt family of three. Baby Chelsea was blessed with the gift of baldness, much to the dismay of her poofy-headed parental beings. Little did she know that once she turned two, her hair would come in like a tidal wave of blonde ringlets.

Happy Birthday to Chelsea. She is one. Her mother continued to inject her hair with a voluminous potion called Aussie.
Happy third birthday to Chelsea. She was enthused to have this enormous, completely decorated Barbie mansion that featured 3 floors and a working doorbell.

Meet Danielle, one of Chelsea's most favoritest cousins of all time. Such a darling little dress featuring tomatos(?) on it.

Happy Halloween! Pocachelsea recieved a baby brother this year.

And the award for the best, worst hairstyles of the 90's goes to.....

Meet Will. he liked boats and yo-yos. Mother and father refer to him as the "good, quiet child." How special.

This horrendous monstrosity of a photo took place on Halloween of 1998. Such utterly priceless childhood memories.

Mr. bunny looks rather frightening. Chelsea was smiling on the outside, but deep down she was screaming inside. The bunny's huge eyes and strangely floppy ears are much too psycho-ish for her to handle.

Chelsea is 6 here. She had unruly, wavy/curly hair with oddly-shaped bangs. Not much has changed today.

Happy Halloween 2001. GoGo Girl and silver/yellow power ranger are looking especially hott.

A 9-year old Chelsea had the opportunity to play "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree" and "Amazing Grace" on this baby grand Piano. That poofy, red velvet dress was her most beloved article of clothing at the time.

Braves Games were a common activity for the Atlanta-residing Holts. Gram was visiting in this one.

The holt "completed" family of four traveled to San Fransisco in June of 2002, only to find that they would not be able to see the top of the Golden Gate Bridge due to the extreme foggy cold that took over and ruined their trip.

Fast forward to September 20, 2004 when we welcomed baby Bradyn into the family. It took me a little while to warm up to him after him peeing on me on his 3rd day on this earth. Sad story. He was forgiven eventually.

Merry Christmas 2004...a few days before the great migration to Arizona. Not many cherished memories were made during that time so no pictures, sorry.

Uncle Josh and Auntie Jade's wedding in 2005. Very, very fun.

Let's do the time warp to 2007 for the lake winnie trip of the greatest year ever, 8th grade! Coasters, Funnel Cakes, and Coach jones!!!! What more could a girl want?

Freshman year adventures to the "mall" and loving on the mannequins. Chelsea and her friend Sarah Beth always have a good time...

The end of our first year of highschool marks the first annual BrittneyChelseastayupallnightandwalktofoodlionandgorollingat4am. It was the last adventure of the sort.

Sophomore year brought many a singers adventure the Applebees and O'Charleys. What great fun.

Merry Christmas 2008 at Breakfast with Santa. Cameron is our pimp.

Meet Fletcher and Benji. They are the twins of Chelsea and Will. Yeah they are the best of friends now, because they never grow tired of watching scrubs, funny cats on youtube, and laughing uncontrollably at cake wrecks. They rock.

Chelsea and her favorite cousin, Madison love to swing. They also give eachother facials and pretend to be mother and child at town events.

J'adore my life.
