From June 20-26 I was partying it up in Jesus(our church van) with all my youth group homies! We first ventured over to the ATL for some chillaxing at Six Flags,NorthPoint Church, the Flying Biscuit, and the Marriot! Although, we did not, by any means, realx the entire 2 day trip! After that mini, pre-Church camp extravaganza, we took off to Flo-Rida! 5 days of awesome beach, shopping, yummy food, snorkeling, learning the Cupid Shuffle from the African chillins, and of course, WORSHIP!

With this being my third year, I can truly say that it does get better every time you go because you are a little bit older, and more mature, which means you appreciate the music and understand the sessions more. The theme was time, so the main idea of the week was "How do you spend the time that you are given?"

It really made me think about some thing, but I wont get all into all that.

One cool thing we did was writing a letter to ourself and you can recieve it in a month, 2 years, or 5 years. I chose 2 years because I wasn't sure I would have the same email in 5 years and a month wasnt long enough and I would still remember what it said!

Last Thursday, Adrian and I had a wonderful adventure in Nashville at the CMA Music Festival! It was a looonnng day but totally fun, except for the fact that it came a torential downpour and we had a 3 hour delay so Rascal Flatts, my most awaited band, did not show up! But it's finejustfine cause I will definitley be going all 4 days next year! We got to meet some dude from All My Children, who was cute but I did not know him!

9. Floating around in an inner tube in the pool or the lake is my hobby. Inner ubing on the boat just rocks my socks, except when you deliberatley get thrown off into the scary hard water outside the wake. that hurts like crap. and it bruises your butt!

This morning came early.
Very early.
Aftr finally getting to sleep around 12:30-ish, I woke up at 2, 4, and just as the sun was coming up! I could not go back to sleep no matter how hard I tried, and when I did, it didn't last long! I almost slept in because I didnt feel good and was sleep deprived, plus my allergies were acting up due to some idgit weed that's decided to take up residence all over my neighborhood, and it causes me to sneeze uncontrollably, which leads to runny nose, whick leads to sniffles...and so on and so forth.
So I ended up going to church, and ONLY because I was singing! Then we came home and I watched Elizabethtown and then layed out for an hour and then came inside and made a radically awesome medley CD featuring all my favorite songs from my favorite musicals! It has stuff from Across the Universe, Phantom of the Opera, Hairspray, Highschool Musical, Rent, Grease, and some Disney faves!
It rocks my socks.
Now I am just chilling, bored to death, in my bed chamber.
Trying to find something entertaining to do to keep me sane.
In other words...
I.AM.BORED.TO.TEARS.
It really sucks. I thought about going to the drive-in with somebody, but they aren't playing any good movies.
The movie theatre isn't either.
Bowling would be fun, but nobody would want to do that, I don't think.
So now I decide to browse through the last 2 year's Bigstuf pictures, wishing I was there.
13 days.
I cannot wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I guess I should go find something to do, now.

Pieces of me.

1. I met Dierks Bentley on my 12th birthday at his concert with George Strait.
2. I am can be a big fat homebody sometimes, and I find happiness in my loving, silly family,
3. The TV show, Scrubs has been my most recent obsession. I don't know where I have been my whole life without it.
4. I am one of those annoying-obsessive-drool-and-squeal-over-the-sight-of-rob-pattinson-twilightaholic girls.
5. I collect Coca-Cola products. Signs, posters, calendars, bottles. The Coke museum, to me, has an awesomeness level equal to that of Disney World to a 5 year old.
6. Music from the 90's is the best. I don't know what it is about it that makes it so awesome, but I like most bands and songs from that era, more than music today.
7. Matchbox 20 is, and will always be, my number 1 favorite band of all time. I change my mind everyday with my second favorite, but right now, it's Hootie and the Blowfish and Coldplay and Rascal Flatts.
8. Most people think I am very shy, but really I am just quiet until you get to know me. It sounds like the same thing, but I guard my heart more than anything else, and I don't let people in it easily. You have to gain my trust and once you lose it, i have a hard time giving it back because I don't like being hurt or involved in too much drama.vSo when I don't talk much, it's not because I am stuck up or anthing, I am just quiet.
9. I am a certified nose-licker.
10. I find humor in pointless youtube videos and LOLcats. They may be immature, but that can always make me laugh, without a doubt.
11. I am not a major texter, and I can say that it is not hard for me to go a whole day without texting.
12. I love to cook. It puts me at ease.
13. My guilty pleasure is watching Turner Classic Movies. Breakfast at Tiffanyseet Me in St.Louis, Rafter Romance and It's a wonderful life are my favorites.
14. I am one of those people who is Scientifically challenged. I HATE anything having to do with cells, DNA, Biochemistry. I just do not grasp it, and it's absolutley pointless to have to learn that kind of stuff.
15. I find beauty in engagement/wedding pictures. I want to be a photogrpher just so I can attend pretty weddings. I have favorite (C Scott) whose pictures I look at once a week.
16. I love going to church. I have made some of the best friendships there and being able to sing in the praise team is a very amazing experience. I feel like God put me there for a reason so that he I can tell the world about him through music, which is my passion.
17. My favorite movie of all time is My Girl. It makes my cry every time I watch it. It is so cute and reminds me of being a carefree, little kid.
18. Show choirs are amazing. There is just something about being up on stage performing your heart out and sweating and singing that makes my adrenaline pump.
19. Italian food makes the world go round. Cheese Ravioli with vodka sauce=love.
20. I try not to surround myself with fake people. They are a waste of time.
21. At sonic, I always order a watermelon-Grape slushy!
22. I want to be either a Real Estate Agent, a middle school teacher, or a photographer when I grow up. I have an idea of where I want to go to college, but I don't want to grow up and thinking about it scares the crap out of me.
23. I would have loved to meet Elvis Presley, if he were still alive. Despite what my friends say, he was gorgeous in his early career, and his music makes my happy. I did a biography on him and I can tell you anything about him!
24. Sometimes I wish I had my own band, and I played the guitar and sang...yeah right.
25. I rolled a bathroom once when I was in 1st grade. I was a bad child.
26. I like my hair best when it's curly, but it usually doesnt do right so I end up just straightening it.
27. When I lived in Arizona, I think I was actually depressed. Never in my short life have I hated a place and people before that 18 month time.
28. I like to make my own jewelry and I go to websites and stores for inspiration and just make it myself.
29. I am a cheap-skate. I love shopping, but I am way too careful with my money and usually buy clearance or consignment. But that's a good thing I guess.
30. I wish I was alive in the 60's. I love the hair and the clothes and the way boys acted. It would have been fun to have been alive during The Beatles time.

I get knocked down, but I get up again!

Today has been rather fun.
first i got woken up at an extremely, extremely earlybird hour for some retail therapy in the 'boro. So momma, and the brothas and me took the 45 minute drive to the nearest shopping land to explore/admire/drool over/fall in love all over again at target (pronounced TAR-zjay)!!!! It was wonderful, but since I am saving my pennies for Bigstuf Camp in....16 days, I only purchased 2 items for under 20 dollars. A cool, colorful, and "eclectic" tee and a pink and lime green damask placemat to create a adorable pillow out of for my room! I had a sweater, a purse, some glowsticks, a bra, and some cute strappy wedges with a bow on them picked out, but i narrowed it down to a more affordable group of items! I was sad to leave, because the store still has not returned my heart from the first time I ever set foot in Target and appreciated its wonderful-ness about a year back.

Then after that extravaganza, we ventured off to chick-fil-a (pronounced chick-FIL-it) to munch on some of their delicious fries and nuggets! yummy!
after we scarfed our food, we grocery-shopped at publix (pronounced PYOO-blicks) and got some cheese ravioli and vodka sauce for din-din tonight! well I must go now to get a drink for I am parched from all this typing! bye bye!
